Kimda
Support
Need help with the Kimda app? Write to us. You’ll get a reply straight from the app’s creator.
When reporting a bug, it helps to know your phone model, OS version and a short description of what happened. Please never send us SMS verification codes.
You can write to us in Czech, Slovak or English; we’ll translate messages in other languages.
Frequently asked questions
I didn’t receive an SMS code
Check that the number is entered correctly, including the country code, and wait a moment – the SMS may arrive with a delay. You can then request a new code. The number of attempts is limited for security reasons; if the problem persists, write to us at support@kimda.app.
How do I add a child or another parent to the app?
- A parent opens Family settings in the app and finds the invite code there.
- The child or other parent installs Kimda, verifies their phone number and selects Join a family.
- They enter the invite code. Done.
Don’t share the code outside your family. If someone else gets hold of it, you can create a new one in Family settings.
How much does Kimda cost?
Kimda has a permanently free Free version for one active child and basic tasks. On top of that, every new family gets 60 days of Premium for free. Premium for the whole family is paid monthly or yearly via the App Store or Google Play; you’ll see the current price in the store’s purchase dialog.
What happens when the 60-day free period ends?
Nothing gets deleted. If you don’t subscribe to Premium, you continue for free on the Free version with one active child and basic tasks. If you have more kids, a parent chooses which one stays active – or can renew Premium at any time.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not by Kimda, so you cancel them in the store settings:
- iPhone and iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kimda, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kimda, or play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Please note: deleting your Kimda account does not cancel your subscription. Refunds are decided by Apple or Google under their own policies.
I have a new phone – how do I restore my subscription?
Sign in with the same phone number and the same Apple or Google account you used to buy the subscription. On the subscription screen, tap Restore previous purchase.
Is the money in the app real?
No. Points and pocket money in Kimda are a family record. The app doesn’t hold or transfer real money and has no access to any bank account or card. The parent decides when to actually pay out.
Who can see the photos of completed tasks?
Only your family members in the app. The photos aren’t public, they’re kept in private storage, and we don’t share them with any other service or social network.
How do I delete my account?
Right in the app: My profile → Delete account. If you no longer have the app, follow the steps on the Account deletion page.
