Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This is a translation. The Czech version is legally binding.

These terms govern the use of the Kimda app operated by Ivo Slávka, Czech Republic (“Kimda”, “the app”, “we”). The support contact email is support@kimda.app.

1. Purpose of the service

Kimda helps families plan household chores, keep track of virtual points and pocket money, and create family rewards and savings goals. Kimda is not a bank, a payment service or an investment product. Amounts in the app are a family record; the app itself does not hold or transfer real money.

2. Parent and child accounts

A family may be set up by an adult authorized to act on behalf of the family. The parent is responsible for inviting children, for the correctness of family settings, for the appropriateness of tasks and rewards, and for supervising the child’s use of the app. Do not share the access code or invite code outside the family.

3. Free tier, trial period and subscription

A new family gets a 60-day trial period with all Premium features. If it does not subscribe to Premium after the trial ends, it may continue to use Kimda free of charge for one active child and the basic task flow: creating, completing and parental approval. Existing data is not deleted merely because the trial period ends. If the family has more than one active child at that point, the parent chooses one active child for Free or renews Premium.

The monthly or yearly auto-renewing Premium subscription unlocks advanced features, in particular money buckets and interest, the planner, goals, family rewards, loans and parent overviews. The subscription is purchased via the Apple App Store or Google Play. The current localized price is shown directly in the purchase dialog of the relevant store before confirmation. One subscription unlocks Premium for the family in Kimda.

Payment, renewal, cancellation and any refunds are handled by Apple or Google under the terms of the user’s account in the respective store. The subscription can be managed and cancelled in the App Store or Google Play settings. Deleting a Kimda account does not by itself cancel the subscription in the store.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the app for unlawful conduct, disrupting the service, circumventing security, impersonating another person or uploading content you are not authorized to share. Only store photos if the people concerned agree and it is appropriate for the child’s age.

5. Availability and changes

We strive for safe and reliable operation, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. We may change features, provided this does not infringe rights already purchased or applicable law. We will inform you in the app about material changes to the terms or to privacy protection.

6. Intellectual property

Kimda, its source elements, texts, graphics and brand are protected by the relevant rights. Users retain the rights to their own photos and texts and grant us only the permission necessary to store them and display them to members of the same family for as long as they use the service.

7. Termination and deletion

An account can be deleted directly in the app’s profile. The deletion procedure and scope are described in the Privacy Policy. In the event of a serious breach of these terms, we may suspend or terminate access.

8. Liability

The parent decides on the actual payment of pocket money and the granting of rewards. Kimda is not liable for family agreements, parents’ decisions or losses caused by incorrect user settings. This does not limit consumer rights or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, subject to the mandatory consumer rights of the user’s country. Please send any questions to support@kimda.app.
