Deleting your account and data

You can delete your Kimda account at any time. The quickest way is right in the app; if you no longer have it, send us a request by email.

1. Right in the app

  1. Open Kimda and tap My profile.
  2. Select Delete account and confirm.
  3. If you’re the last parent in the family, the app will ask whether you also want to delete the entire family, including the kids.

Deletion starts immediately and the app signs you out. Some steps, such as removing photos from storage, finish automatically in the background.

2. Without the app – by email

Write to privacy@kimda.app with the subject Account deletion request and include:

The phone number you use to sign in to Kimda:
Your name in the app:
Family name:
I want to delete: only my account / the entire family, including the kids

Write a deletion request

Before deleting an account, we verify that the request comes from its owner – for this, we may ask you to confirm from the phone number linked to the account. We will handle your request within 30 days at the latest and let you know once it’s done. Never send us SMS verification codes.

What gets deleted

What remains (anonymously)

When a single member is deleted, the task and points history (task name, points and approval date) stays with the rest of the family so the pocket money totals still add up for the other members. This history is linked only to an anonymous record – not to your name or contact details – and can’t be used to sign in or to identify you.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play settings – you’ll find instructions on the Support page.
